Purpose of Website
This website is lovingly dedicated to the memory of Hal Kanter. Hal died on December 31, 2006 in Gainesville, Florida. He was a member of Congregation B’nai Israel and a resident of Birnam Woods Way in the Forest the Unicorn residential community for almost 23 years. Hal also leaves behind many close friends in the Syracuse, New York area who still remember him with much affection. Hal’s sudden passing leaves many of us with a lack of closure. It is my hope that this website and blog will help all of us to celebrate Hal’s life and create a living testament of how he touched each of us with his kind and gentle spirit.
